Dear Sis. Sonia, the news of your death came to me as a bombshell and it is still very difficult for me to believe that you have passed on. Life is indeed a mirage, a walking shadow that appears and disappears in a moment like a shooting star. It still feels like a movie to me and honestly, I never knew I will be writing a tribute for you so soon. I thank God for giving my family and I the opportunity to know you. You were such a great soul, so loving and so full of life. I remember you at my 40th birthday party here in Milton Keynes, oh how you brought so much joy and vibrancy into the atmosphere. You had such a great passion for the things of God and you showed it in the way you worshipped, prayed, your kind words and your generosity. I still remember all your words of encouragement to me and how pleased you were when I finished my masters degree. You attended my graduation thanksgiving service/party despite you not feeling very well at the time. I want to say thank you for always remembering my children’s birthdays and for always making them feel extra special. Thank you for all the chocolates, gifts, cards you posted to the Ibegbulam children whenever it was their birthdays or a festive period. I want to say thank you for your heart full of love for children, which you demonstrated in so many ways and at various times. Thank you for all the presents you brought in for the children at Christ The Rock Ministries (CTRM). I will so miss you, the Ibegbulam family will really miss you and CTRM will miss you so dearly too. Your voice, your passion, your love, the fire you carried will never be forgotten. You are irreplaceable and although you are no longer here, I will forever cherish and treasure the laughter, the tears, the joy, the love , the fun, the fellowship and all the sweet memories that we shared. So, It is with a very heavy heart but with total submission to the will of God that I say Adieu to you our dearly beloved Sis Sonia. Good bye, good night, sleep tight!!!
